The Danbury Flyers had an excellent showing at the 2018 USATF Junior Olympic Cross Country Region 1 Championship last Sunday at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, NY. Our 15-18 Girls Team won the Region 1 Championship, defeating teams from New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York. Also qualifying were Andrew G in the 7-8 Division and Ryan S in the 13-14 Division. Next up will be the USATF Junior Olympic National Championships 12/8 at Reno, NV! This will be the 4th year the Flyers have participated in this National Championship meet, and the first participation by a youth athlete below high school age. Good luck to all of our athletes!
