Congratulations to the Danbury Flyers who took gold at our big early season meets!
At the O’Grady Relays, held 4/27-8 at Danbury High School, our Girls Sprint Medley Relay Team won Gold in a blistering time of 1:52.48. Not only did this time set the meet record, it would have qualified the team for High School nationals, and is currently the US #2 Sprint Medley Relay performance this season for Middle Schools or Clubs!!!
Also scoring gold at the O’Grady Relays, Alanna in the 800m, and Giuliana in the Long Jump.
At the Keller Relays in New Fairfield held on 5/2, our Girls 4×400 earned gold and broke a long time meet record by running 4:17. Our Girls 4×100 team also earned gold and broke the meet record with a 52.3! More results from the Keller Relays will be added to this post as soon as they are available!
